Board of Directors
The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission’s board comprises four representatives from each county, for a total of 28 commissioners. The board meets quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Meetings are open to the public, and notices are posted for public view and on social media one week before the meetings.

Our commission first established our bylaws on December 28, 1972. The current bylaws stand as amended by the commission on December 1, 2016

2025 Annual Dinner Meeting
The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission’s board of directors held its Annual Dinner Meeting on March 27 at Smokin' Pig in Grayville. Before regular business, Christine Orr with Discover Downstate Illinois presented on a variety of topics for our area. Discover DownstateIllinois provides marketing opportunities to promote tourism for all 7 counties in our region.
Rob Anniss (president), David Savage (vice president), Scott Merkle (secretary), and Randy Hallam (treasurer) were re-elected to their respective positions as officers, and several members were recognized for their years of service on the board of directors.
